The one where an older gentleman is reading his paper and says, "I'm going for a drive." He then goes out to his garage and pulls the cover off an ABSOLUTELY beautifull old porsche roadster. Later in the commercial a younger guy in a new Boxster pulls along side and they both look at each other and say "Holy Schmoly."

My question is, what model(and year if anyone knows) is that older porsche? That just happens to be one of the most beautifull cars ever created...IMHO.

I'd love to see that advert! I can't recall ever seeing a Porsche advert in the UK but we used to get a superb S2000 advert at the cinema

 

It is such a beautiful car, it's hard to believe its a Porsche ( Before I get flamed, most people are really surprised to find that the S2000 is a Honda). I'd take the 550 Spyder any day over the the Boxster. Maybe I'll get one as a beater.

It's a great comercial.
