BTW, I have put 7000 miles on mine and it is still fine. I'm doing this to help out forum members as it's not very clever if an expensive exhuast like this fails in a short period of use.

Comments: Don't like the blue bits on the tips.

Problem: Weld has split along seams of resonator.
Comments: Currently rattling and blowing. Exhaust is being removed this week for further inspection.

Just seen this thread, thats terrible Fiedl - I thought LL was taking the piss on that other thread.

When did it start to go wrong?

I noticed it sounded different about 2 weeks ago and it has got progresively worse since. It now sounds pretty bad hence LL's rattly comment.

I'll take pics when it comes off the car.

 

Hmmm, it looked absolutely fine when I bought it. I fitted it and it was certainly ok then. Then it drove maybe 500 miles max in my ownership. How long has it been on now? It must be about 6 months-ish? I wonder what Honda did on fitting it. Its piece of piss to fit.

So are you not unique with this problem? ie, are there others?
