Thumbs down Stolen [highly likely] seats STILL on eBay

Anyone in/around Ft. Lauderdale get their seats stolen? I saw further proof today. In another thread I see this [since closed] auction. First Attempt to Sell

And here's an auction good thru June 16.

Same guy a day later

Man..."Buy It Now" seats at a "hot" price. I got very restless today. I hope the owner, if indeed these are stolen, will read this, and get the police to do something, or finds the post on eBay himself. I'm thinking of getting a new S and this isn't comforting at all.

Anyone knows anything ELSE I can do to help the situation? Can I email eBay that this potentially can be a theive? I don't want to libel anyone. But my instincts tell me this guy is a theive or got the seats hot some other way.

Yeah, I emailed this guy. He said he bought them from the dealer a few months ago. I said since you bought them from the dealer then you must have the receipt or invoice. He said its been a few months and couldn't find it. I said no big deal, if its only been a few months the dealer should still have the invoice. He said he was 25 miles away and didn't want to bother the dealer.

Now reduced to $850. I guess he really has nothing to lose. I wonder how much profit he would gain even selling them at $100 bucks... oh a $100 bucks.

^ Send him another E-Mail scaring the shit out of him by telling him that one of your family member works for the PD and that they are all over him as you write that E-Mail.

He told me to f off and that he was going to report me to ebay. I told him to go ahead and asked if it would be alright to set up an appointment to look at the seats with the local police.
