So I totalled my S. Hard rains plus old S02s plus new asphalt on I40 = dead S2000 & highway drivers with no idea what food options are available at exit 278. I will post pics as soon as i feel ambitious enough to download them all from my phone. I was very impressed with how comfortable the accident was, kudos to the Honda engineers.

Trying to decide what to do, keep the van, new fit... dont know, wont get another S until next spring at the earliest.

Dave

BTW, it hasnt officially been totalled yet, so if someone is interested in the purchase, i can see what would be involved.

damage to frong quarters, bumper, hood, rear passenger quarter and wheel. shop says some frame damage as well in the front. passenger compartment is pretty much untouched, engine was great.

Sorry to hear. At least you didn't say there were any injuries.

I'd love a Fit. Good luck with your future car and hopefully no insurance troubles.

Dave, so glad you are okay but very sad to hear the "S" may be a total. My daughter hydroplaned her civic Tues AM on I-40 also. She apparentlly spun around several times but never hit anything and no one hit her thank God!

Jay and Dave, so GLAD everyone is OK! Cars can be replaced. (And Dave, you'd better replace yours. We haven't had enough opportunities to give you grief yet!)

Seriously, I'm so sorry that happened.
