First off, big props to Angel for setting this up and giving us all a reason to so early in the morning. to you.

So what was the scoop? For those who missed it...

If you got rolled today, lets hear it

nothing too bad, too much coolant in the reservoir pressurized the system so it boiled off

I AM THE ONE THAT OVERHEATED

I had the coastal metal grills with license plate attached on it covering more than half of the front grill part. I also was vtec-ing all the way up (staying in second gear 7000 to 9000 all the way) and I saw the temp bar go up to 4. This never happened before because I rarely vtec and today was probably the most vtec-ing i'ver ever did in one day over 5 years of ownership

thank you so much to the guys that helped me with tips and what to do and those gave me water bottles, paper towels and rags

After taking off the front grill and adding some water to the coolant, everything was fine and I was back to vtec-ing all the way down the ACH

Had an awesome time and it felt like being in Arcade Racing game the whole time we were driving

see u guys next time

ssanae77, what do you mean by 3 bars? does ap1 gauge show 3 bars when fully warmed up? my 06 shows like 4-5 when it fully warms up.

yes. 3 bars when it's fully warmed up. (well...if you count the first bar which is like 1/5 of the regular sized bars...then 4 bars but I don't think that one counts as a bar)

put it this way, it was one more bar than usual.
