Default PlastX .... is the SEXXXXX

i have an 02 #1798 and had very HAZY headlights.. the entire headlight was full haze which made it hard to even see in... and at night the actualy housing would light up because of it refracting light.

2-3 weeks ago a orlando member told me about him using PlastX and i finally got around to it.

after 3 coats (blue taping off car first) using my hand and a towel in circle motion.. their practically back to new...

anyone w/ haze... use this product!

Plexus on the headlights, Plastx on the rear plastic window is what I use.

Took some PlastX and a high speed buffer (foam pad) to my headlights today, I can't believe how clear they are now. I thought for sure that the haze would never come off. I tried the Plastx without the buffer and only had moderate results. But all I can say is, if you have the hazed lights, try this out.

I had hazy lights (expected with a used MY00) and had GREAT results with PlastX on the 2nd time I used it.

First time I put it on, wiped a bit and then buffed it off, eh.

Second time I put it on, wiped and got in there and scrubbed, let it sit, put a BIT more on an wiped/scrubbed a bit more, then buffed it off.

The difference was HUGE.

I just re-PlastX'd my headlights a few days ago (when I washed and waxed the car too ) and they look REALLY good.

I finish it off with Plexus to protect.

I have mixed review. haha I tell yah I am a weirdo.

First time I used it, I used it only on the faded part of headlights, that would be the top. Since I am in AZ it's 2004 and already haze from the sun. Well long story short.... The top part where I used it faded even more and it looked like I killed the clear coar.

Then 3 months later I grew some balls and made another attempt and learned that all I had to do is put some elbow grease with some speed. Results were exellent. Now if I used a buffer, I can only dream of the results.

Pros: Great results with effort and elbow grease put into it

Cons: With out experiance you will give up in a minute and be even more irritated because this product is hard to wipe off and you have to work that micro-fiber into the material to get that brilliant shine.
Anyhow, I give it two thumbs up.

But anyways, great product.

I tried this on the 3M protectant film I have on the headlights, it worked VERY little and I did two passes with the PC @ 3000.

Anyone else try this on the 3M?
