Not likely, The sales force is always spreading these rumors to generate panic buying. They said the same thing about the 2002.

Who knows....????? The Prelude has been eliminated, and Honda will obviously have some changes for 2003, so we all just wait and see. I already have my MY2000, so if they do decide not to make it anymore, then it just drives the value of mine upwards in the future......

Only time will tell. The same thing has been said about each model year so far.

I'm drawing on 6 months memory, clouded no doubt by some of last night's New Year Cheer, but the engineers who designed this car, when asked, replied that they will continue making this car as long as people are buying it.

So tell me... are they still selling?

Every year it's the same old stuff, but every year they manage to sell even more than the previous year. In 2001, they sold almost double what they projected for 2000.

Is Honda (or any other company) going to turn away good business? I doubt it.

oh god
not again

suggest you do a search on something like "last year rumor" or the like. this has been beaten to death for years now

c3... perhaps in the Rumor Mill forum (please please) there could be a sticky note about this particular rumor and the usual responses (something from Greg about the visit to the factory, something about sales folk lying, etc.)
