Its time to offload this since I put a new engine in my car:
MY00 Block and head, damaged but rebuildable for anyone looking for a high HP car.
The block has piston damage in cylinder 4, and all 4 cyls have some scoring. The crank case cover also has a crack. Brand new oil pan (kept mine with the SC plumbing).
The head has damage to the 4th cylinder cap. The rest is in normal shape. It is complete with cams and all. The valve cover is scratched up.
This engine ran but it made a loy of noise and blew lots of smoke. What happened was 2 tiny pieces of the ring broke off and acted like chisels on the piston and head in cylinder 4. Ill show a couple pics.
There may be a couple bolts missing, not sure. The shop just handed me a box of misc parts. But anything missing I am sure you could reuse from your engine.
