i bought my 01 used with 4k miles on the odometer.

i did a carfax.com check on the car and it stated that the car was originally bought from NJ.
how many miles is NJ to California anyways?

i drove from maryland to california once... its about 3.5k each way...

I'm not sure which route you took but it took you 1,000 miles more than it took me. I drove the 40 across and it only took me 2,600 miles. Where were the other 1000 miles you put on from???
