Default AEM V1 Intake - SOLD -

1 AEM V1 Intake red

PM me with offers...looking for trades as well (actually preferred). The red one might have 5000 miles on it at the most and is like new.

The wrapped one...of course the wrapping can be taken off, and like mentioned, it is silver underneath and in good condition (just normal install rub areas)
SOLD

I'll try and get pictures of the red one later this week, and I'll even clean the filter for whoever buys one that way you start off basically new

What are you trying to trade the intake for...Isnt the heat wrap suppose to keep heat in, not block heat from coming in...But oh well, best of luck with the sale, bump for seller.

hey man, how have you been. When are you coming back to SLO, or are you here already? How much for the red one? Why are you selling? Going FI?

It does both...on a header it keeps the heat in and keeps the engine bay cooler. On an intake it keeps the cold air (inside the intake) cold and keeps the hot out. The wrap is basically fiberglass and a couple other materials, so think of it like the fiberglass used to insulate a house. Heat wrap is an insulator, and having an AEM EMS I've actually measured the intake temp differences. Before wrapping, intake temps would get as high as 10 degrees F above ambient, after wrapping, they are rarely over 5 degrees above ambient. This is measured with data of Air Intake Temps coming from the EMS.

Anyway, trades are either K&N or Comptech intakes that I'm looking for.

Pretty good...I'm coming back hopefully by the end of May... I know it sounds long but thats when I'll be GRADUATING!! Anyway, PM me about pricing and stuff, and ya I plan to go F/I eventually, but right now I want to clean up my engine bay a little more...hence why I want the comptech...I already have a CF rad cooling plate and the CF on the comptech intake will match a nicer and since it is plastic it doesn't need to be wrapped. Obviously I plan to trade mine + some cash for the comptech as well.
