What do you think of this............??

I gotta head down to my #1 son (Chris) and return some luggage that we borrowed for the European vacation that we just took. He lives just on the County Line - University Blvd. Also deliver some goodies that Danae' bought for him and the misses from Prague & Vienna.

PLUS, my brother is over from England with his 2 kids and is dying to drive his Cooper S that I so graciously keep at my house while he is stranded over there. Chris hasen't ever seen the new Laguna Blue so I thought to try to do all of this in one shot. So, I thought I'd see who was up for a group drive down to Sarasota on this sat Night, the 12th.

I remember the captain (Chip) telling us about a Sonic in Bradenton that was located in a shopping center or Mall where we could all park together, otta' the way of the usual Sonic traffic. I say we meet there at 7:00 PM do the average junk food dinner thing and then head toward the Beach area, tops down and show the local folks what they're missing. Chris says that there is this killer Italian Icee place over there that we can cap for desert.

Greg (FIdreaming) can bring up a group from the Ft Meyers-Naples area, Captain Chip gathers the local boys and lets see who is game from the Tampa Bay area.

Sounds good....the Sonic is on SR 64 not too far off the interstate. I think I am in...I am going to be at a photography seminar in Tampa all day long. The cruise out to the beach would be fun. Sunset is about 8:00pm.

Alright, it looks like it is shaping up to be a fairly good showing. I forgot that we can hook up with Jeremy as we cruise by Apollo Beach and all the Riverview boys (Nick, Q, Bryan, Jeff, etc.) as we glide past their exit as well.

I'm out of pocket tomorrow so I'll monitor and reply back to all of this on Friday when I get back in the office. We'll make some final arangements then.

Wife is going to Recon the Sonic Area......other option is to meet at the beach at the far end of SR 64 . There is a place called Cafe on the beach. Good food,,,,simple, fairly cheap and we would already be out on the beach. From there we could do a loop down Longboat key and disburse from there.

 

Yeah, I'm deffently in! I'm glad to see that you guys are willing to come to our neck of the woods . Sonic on 64 (Exit 220) would be good to meet up at. The Sonic on 41 is PACKED with ricers on Saturdays. I'll be looking forward to meeting up with everyone.
