S2000 Atlanta Q1 Planning Meeting Minutes

We had a very productive planning session. Members, thank you all for coming and for all of your input. I'm sure 2002 will be an even better year for S2000 Atlanta.

Club Logo: Logo complete, final version to be emailed to S2k Dude and posted online.

Membership Registraion: Brochure to be updated with new club logo by S2k Dude, Modifry and Silverstreak to print color copies. 20 copies to be mailed to all 12 area dealerships.
As of 2002, membership dues will be $35. Each current member will renew at the new membership fee on thier anniversary date of joining the club. ZoomZoom is the Club Treasurer and will be sending out a balance sheet in the coming month.

Upcoming events: Club meetings/drives/events routinely occur every third Sunday of each month unless there is a holiday. Below are various activites that were suggested by club members.
January

(1/20) Indoor Go-karting at Goldspeed (more details to follow).
(1/26, 1/27) Road Atlanta Track Event
February
(2/17) Club drive to the Dillard House for lunch or dinner
Bowling Night, date and location are TBD
March
(3/17) Club Meet and Greet
(3/22 - 3/24) North Carolina Coastal Outer Banks Event - Limited Availability, See the forum on S2ki.com for more info. Last update was that all slots were taken. Please contact Airgate if you have any questions.

*Possible incorporation/use of Ultimate BBS Calendar/Profiles/User Login
*Possible Member Profiles similar to www.hondaprelude.com (pictures, mods, user updatable)
*Update club info/History page - Dave K.
*Add online new member registration and/or downloadable registration form
*Delete user articles
*Create new icon for MPEG files
*Possible description for photos/movies, mouse over pops up description
*Reqest for text next to nav for clarity
*Check load time on dial up connection
*Misc. Flash ideas included Tornado effect, spinning cars, engine reving, S2k Dashboard with moving tachometer.

Sirtom, Webgod has the Atlanta Badge for this board (see his reply above). Since he has already created it, I thought we could all use it. We have both asked Krazik to ammend the badge to all Atlanta people.
