well finally i figured out how to put a pic in. This was taken on thanksgiving day...yes it was cold, my aunt has a digital cam so my friend took a pic of me in it.

Love the yellow. I personally don't care for the eyelids, it looks like what it is, tape. I understand the effect you are trying to achieve but to me it just looks like tape, not smaller headlights.

 

it's not permanent so i dont really care but just as long as i dont do something really permanent like an APR wing or something. Im just glad i can post pictures....now let me figure out how to post vides

 

The headlights, IMHO, would look much better cleared -- the amber clashes most of all with the Spa yellow. But I love the yellow and your car looks great!

 

what did you use to paint your calipers?????? Car looks great

Thankx for the compliments guys. Ok the brake calipers were painted at a local shop here. Painted with high-heat resistant paint...the paint matches pretty well. In fact im waiting for it to fade just a little so the yellow would match perfectly. Someone mentioned red calipers, yeah i thought of it. it was a 50/50 kind of decision. I thought of high-glossed black too. A clean look that i think would turn out better than most people would think.

Oh and about the "brows" one day my friend and I were going to this custom graphics shop to get something for his car. They had some scrap pieces of yellow decal sheets left over so i got some for free. Went home, drew it out, cut the pieces out...then put them on...(no bubbles ) took me about 30 minutes. they look better in person IMO. From far away the car looks more aggressive (plus you can't see the lines). up close isn't that bad either. It looks just like paint. heh. the only time that "normal" people could tell something is odd about it is when i have my lights on and it shines right through the decals. Other than that, nope im not bored of them yet. Id rate 6 out of 10 on the "ricey" meter. Not everybody's cup of tea. I like them though.

 

I think the eyelids would look good if you got rid of that ugly orange corner reflector. It's just too contrasting with the yellow and the eyelid.
