Ok just for instance lets assume that everybody on this board has an average of $200,000 in assets.

Ok, so lets say 4000 members of this site decide to get together.

Combining our assets, we would have $800,000,000 Now you would think that this would be enough to buy a nice large island somewhere. We could declare it our own country, all live there, have a couple tracks built, say replicas of The Nurburg Ring, and Laguna Seca. We could have no speed limits, and pretty much do what ever we want..

Sounds kinda nice eh? So if you guys all want to join my cult...Um I mean country, I'm sure it would be really nice

The only problem I see with this is that most of our members are male. We would have a very few VERY happy females on the island but not enough to go around. I for one don't want to live in the middle of a bunch of hard legs.

 

I'm sure we would have some money left over wouldn't we? Oh geez, did I just say that

 

I like your idea, but I hope there is someone out there that can compensate for the assets I don't have.

One problem. We'd be a prime target for a military takeover and totally defenseless. I suggest we scale development plans and spend $400 million on F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraft, an airbase, a tower with radar, air-to-air and air-to-ground/sea weapons, fuel, spare parts, mechanics, and pilot training.

One more problem:

For some, the 200K in assets needed would require SELLING the S2000s! Well, that would be ironic, on an island set up just for us to race around, and NO CAR!!! Sounds like HELL to me!
