Looking for a detailer for swirl marks
I'm looking for a local detail person/shop to get some pretty bad swirl marks off my s2k. Ajserrano took a look at it at my tech day I hosted last month and said it will definitely take a buffer to get out. God only knows how it happended . . . we can host tech days but we can't wash cars I guess.
If no one can recommend a good place/guy I'll just place some calls this week. Any idea what a reasonable cost should be?
Thanks in advance!

Call a body shop that has a good rep. for painting cars. Their your best bet for a good polish.
Or just invest in a Porter Cable http://www.properautocare.com/74uldemawico.html This is a good deal and get Menzerna's Final polish II.

Thanks Alex, I was thinking about doing that, but honestly I'd probably make it worse having no experiance with a porter cable before. I'd rather just pay someone who knows what they are doing then try to wash it better from now on.

You just have to know how to wash your car, i see too many people just spray water on it then start cleaning with their pad.
I wash my car every saturday and ive yet to see any scratch or swirl. I always pour water and as i pour i move my hand over the whole car taking off the surface dirt that will leave the swirls. Once the whole car is smooth (no dirt) then you actually use the soap with your pad and clean it for the shine. Dry it with one of those absorbent rags, then wax it.
