WOW!!! Charlie. . .looks like you guys had an excellent time!!! I ventured up North myself about 4 hours to visit the Richmond crew! We had 16 or 17 S2000's out for the meet. . .an excellent time as well. Nice weather too! Here's a sample pic and a link to the rest if you are interested! Very sweet time for us all this weekend!
Great photos, Charlie! And thanks to Ken and Nancy for hosting a marvelous afternoon.
The new Philadelphia Orchestra concert hall is fabulous, and the acoustics of the hall are incredible. Jerry led James and I across the Ben Franklin into the city, and we found the parking garage and restaurant with no trouble. We had a blast driving around those narrow center city streets, tops down, lisenting to the exhaust sounds echo off the buildings.
I drove top down after the concert as far as the Maryland border, then chickened out and put it up. By then it was below freezing and the back of my neck was starting to feel like an ice cube.
For the great pictures, and rubbing it in my face, because I couldn't go to the meeting, because of a cold. I could have gone a spread the virus through the whole Del Valley club, but no, I sat home while you guys were feeding your face and motoring around South Jersey. Some meeting. Lets tell it like it is. It was a party. If there was any meeting, it was probably to discuss when you were going to do it again.
All kidding aside, Maryellen and I sure did want to be there. You all are a great bunch of guys. Like I told Ken & Nancy, I'll save the lobster tails and shrimp for the next time. I'll drink the beer I was going to bring.
We missed you Bob...... hope your feeling better soon. Oh there were other AARP members their but as not to get myself in trouble I'll let them reveal themselves.
