Tried some SEAFOAM.......
SEA FOAM
I have a buddy that has a 1988 toyota p/u with 200000 miles on it. He told me that him and a friend (2000 Mustang GT) picked up some of this seafoam and poured 1/3 of a pint into their throttle body and the rest (2/3 of a pint) into their gas tanks. He says that his engine is running smoother and his MPG went up a little.
Anyone else tried this stuff?

It works great on older engines.
We ran it through a vacuum line.
I have. It's great. I ran 1/3 through a vaccum line, poured 1/3 into the oil, and 1/3 into the gas tank. Engine was fairly clean, as most smoke that bellowed out was light gray/white.
I poured the seafoam into a styrofoam cup to let the vaccum line sip up the seafoam. Make sure you keep your hand on the throttle cable to make sure the RPM's dont dip down too low.
I've been using this stuff on my past 5 hondas. I've always gotten excellent gas mileage and never had a single problem with engines. Every valve adj. has looked clean.

you can also add some into yoru crank case. but it is highly recommended to change your oil right afterwards.
you might want to watch out on older/high mileage cars though.. some of that build up might actuallly be what is holding your car together from leaks and what not.

I tried it but I'm not sure if i did it right, from what I remember it was do 1/3 into the gas tank, 1/3 into the oil, and 1/3 into the intake. I bought the spray version to pray into the throttle body and dumped half and half into the gas and oil, I sprayed away but it didn't smoke like I expected it to and I just didn't have that WOW my car is so much faster feeling at the end that I was told I would have...
Where did I go wrong? Something with using the spray version for the intake, I wasn't sure which vaccum line to use so I didn't go for that.
