Decent. What PSI is that, 6 or 8? So, with race gas you could bump it up 2 PSI and get another 20-30 HP.

OK, this is running 8 psi, the car dynoed at 330 (at Speedcraft) with 8psi before the head gasket. The head gasket lowers the compression some, thus lowering power. Last I heard it was running 1 point lean (air/fuel mixture as read from the exhaust) and they estimate that with the proper air fuel tuning that the car will be in the area of 345-350 rwhp at 8psi. The next step would be to install ignition timing and bump it up to 10psi on pump gas!! If their estimates are correct there's no telling where the power could be (370+???)!

It dynoed at 6psi at 11:1 compression, 283.5 rwhp, with the head gasket it dynoed at 262 rwhp. The guy who was working the dyno computer - Larry - said to the guy in the car, "OK Scott, turn the boost up to 8psi, the monster is about to come out".. Larry said Scott was amazed at the difference between 2 psi.

Even before the head gasket install the difference just by changing the boost 2 psi is unreal. It's such exponential gain in power...

They did a pour compression test on the car and did the calculations, the head gasket lowers the compression to 10.2:1 compression. I need to confirm this because there was some concerns about the formula getting messed up because the stroke is so small..

WILL THE HEADGASKET WORK WITH SUPERCHARGER, SO I COULD ALSO INCREASE BOOST, AND POSSIBLLY RUN NITROUS? ALSO HOW DO I GET ONE OF THOSE HEADGASKETS AND HOW MUCH?

There's a whole thread on this somewhere, increasing the boost requires you to add a cooling system and changing the pulley.

Look for the other thread..

I KNOW I NEED THE AFTER COOLER. THE PULLEY CHANGE WILL INCREASE BOOST. BUT STILL INTERESTED IN HEAD GASKETS, WHERE DO I GET THEM AND HOW MUCH?

Wow, simply Wow... I am curious about the headgasket and o-rings. Did they o-ring it and did they use copper o-rings or what?
