Default Autocross - October 1

There's an autocross at the College of Lake County on October 1st held by the windy city miata club. It's their last autox of the year and the weather looks like it will cooperate.

There's also an SCSCC autox at Maywood and WAI autox at Miller Park that day.

I plan to go to the WAI at Miller Park Sunday. While you experienced guys are here, what alignment specs would you recommend for me? I have a few events under my belt and would like to get my car setup better for autox with some street use in mind. My car is a completely stock 2003, tires and all, only thing I've changed is the cat-back exhaust. I found the alignment suggestions in the Autocross FAQ (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=172595) but I'd like to narrow down the specs so I know what exactly to tell the alignment shop. Also, are these specs per side or total toe or camber? Any recommendations?

As stated in the FAQ:

to save wear on the tires, minimize the toe angles.

above will also be twitchy on the street.

0 front

1/4" in on the back is ok for me

camber looks good.

CLC is a bit smaller than maywood, but less gravel.

I've just been called out of town for the weekend, so I hope somone shows up at the CLC event to represent the S2k's

Won't be me... I've been swamped at work, and will probably need to get some work done

BTW, from my one experience, CLC is also a *lot* wetter.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. So would that be 1/4" total toe in for the rear?

I'm running close 3/8" total rear toe in. It's a compromise 1/4" total in will give better wear, but be slightly twichier. If you have a big front bar, you can tweak it perfect.

Considering this is 5 minutes from me. I might go to this.

Work be damned. I think I'll go to the WCMC event. I'll see you there if you decide to show up, tcho.
