Mistaken for a Porsche
On the drive home last night through town with the top down of course, someone yelled out "Woohoo - look at that Porsche!"
And since *I* didn't see any Porsche I can only assume they meant me. I guess I'm flattered to be mistaken for a car that costs twice as much but on the other hand... Honda makes a damn cool car and should be recognized for what it is!

That's funny. Usually people ask me if my car is a BMW.
I would say a significant percentage of the population has never heard of the S2000. In fact, I myself completely forgot about it's existence shortly after it's introduction. Then I was looking to buy a new car a couple years ago and stumbled over it on Edmunds.com. I remembered what a great car it was and ended up buying one. The S is also a pretty rare car especially in the Northeast because it's not exactly a 4-seasons car.
On a side note, I bought an Audi TT when it first came out. I think mine was the second one the dealership sold. I was at a gas station about 6 months later and this guy is staring at my car. Looking right at the front where there is a HUGE Audi logo in the grill and then proceeds to ask "is that a Porsche?"

All true! BMW, Porsche - nice cars! Way out of my price range. But then, so is the S really.
And this IS Addison County - think more cows than people
There's only one other S in town that I know about.

^ Not really. If it wasn't for the Miata there probable wouldn't be a Boxster or S. And look at the cars handling capability. Much better than the S. Scott smoked a lot of S's at Auto X but then again he drives like a maniac

Though we did get ousted from B-Stock to A-Stock because we were killing the Miata's.
