Default Leaks into car from windows

Hi guys, so far i have lubed up the window seals, however this morning i got a soaked shoulder!. Its taking the piss now.

I have included a few pics here which show where it leaks from.

On the 1st pic, there is a small gap between where the roof folds in half and down into the back - there is small gap i presume this shouldnt be?. The leaks are at the A piller and fold, the same leaks happen at both windo sides.

Hope someone can help.

cheers

I also get the leak from the fold in pic 1. I don't have a gap but certainly the 2 seals aren't pushed tight together.

This is the second set of seals that I have had on the car and am taking the car in for a service on Monday so will see what else they suggest. I think the issue on mine is finding out where the water actually enters the seal - somewhere up around where the hood joins the windscreen/door I think.

Not that useful for you at the moment but if the dealers come up with any other suggestions I'll let you know

It could be your window height needs reset (if you'vre not already done it) - or maybe the seals have become unseated.

My 02 leaked a bit as per your first pic - I can't remember if I ever got it fixed though (the poor sod who bought my car may be able to tell you )

Cheers guys.

Wineboar : Hopefully your dealer can provide some info and you can pass it onto me.

Euan: Is it hard to do it my self? how much would a dealer charge?

cheers

I take it the rain water shoots out of the joint when you move if its been stationary for a while ? I found that the water enter the at the screen joint.

I have the same leaks on my MY00, drivers side only. I found that if I put some vaseline between both seals it helps (Pic 2).
