Was inspecting my car today and found a crack in my invidia cat back. the crack is in the joint that seperates the two mufflers. Has anyone else faced the same problem? Would invidia replace the part? if not then should i weld it?

 

I saw where someone posted that their invidia test pipe cracked at the O2 bung.
They were having some issues getting it replaced. Not sure of the outcome.

 

Which Version do you have?

V1, V2, or V3?

 

Mine has the same crack as well and the weld broke at the front of the resonator. I haven't attempted to reconcile anything yet. Good luck!

 

bought mine in May 2006 from Hop Up Racing. Its got the burnt titanium Tips

 

Thats the V2, the V3 is a little bit different of a design

 

OMG just 1/2 year only! How's your driving style? Just curious

 

I'm curious whether or not driving style actually applies. Can one really crack his made-for-the-s2000 exhaust by pushing it hard enough? I think the manufacturer and the manufacturer alone is to blame -- unless it got manhandled during shipping or installation, in which case the OP would be to blame for not checking the exhaust before/after (sounds like he's the kinda guy that would, though).

im sure it has some sort of warranty on it, call invidia? or the place u got it from? b/c thas BS!! its still 2006!!
