Got bored...and made a Sub-Box for the trunk of the S2K (what else is there to do when your unemployed!?)

The Speaker is like $150+ new, it is an 8" polk with a masssssive magnet... The box only cost me about $15 bucks to make, but about 4hrs of time. You will need your own inductor/coil (for a crossover, although I've ran it w/out a crossover and it still sounded great).

The box needs to be sanded and covered with carpet still... But it does fit into the well in the trunk. I'de "prefer" to sell this locally so I can help finish it.

I have tested it in my S2K w/AMP and it definately is nice tight bass-- I'll happly demonstrate for you locals.

Nah..its not that heavy...you'de be surprised.

btw... I could have easily made it outta fiberglass, but (A) it would get scratched up, and (B) Wood is a hell of a lot cheaper :-) ....esp when u have no job.
