i was just thinking, that since VA S2K was nice enough to want maybe order some stuff for me, that instead of ordering me something, why not put together some sort of group buy, you know how that have 12/case prices... maybe we should get soemthing together.. or maybe if they have some sort of mix and match prices.... anyone want to find out? or i guess i can.. and sweet talk them into giving us a discount....

 

BTW, apologies should any of our Mid-Atlantic members feel this thread s/b in the Group Buys section. I guess we would be willing to move it if there proves to be disapproval for posting within Mid-A, but as we are attempting to gain a localized GB, I hope folks will appreciate that we need to keep this thread somewhat out of the "entire community". Thanks for understanding...and at the rate we're going, we might not take very long working up the GB anyway. Ooooh, Spring's right around the corner!

Dave...did you ride by me parked in Downtown Short Pump this evening??? I was waiting on VA S2K & saw a blue with the top down drive by my nose & wave. If it was you, ya shoulda slipped back by...we yapped & chilled out in front of the cigar shop with a couple a hot chocolates for about an hour.

As far as the group buy....man, I'm "." [this] close to placing my own order for singles... No doubt I'm in for a group buy...but the only discount from Zainobros.com will be in case lots (which translates into 12/case for 100% of their product line). Not bad, if you and I already make 10 of 12 for a GB.

My intended order...which again, for folks saving's sake should be similar if we're tryin to peg case-lots would be the following:

Taking advice from VA S2K, if you wanna save $$$$, I considering skipping out on the Z5 and ZFX Additive (as indicated in italics above) .........they're nice but not really necessary. I also plan on purchasing my applicator pads at Target (or wherever) for $1.50 instead of through Zaino.

So...I'm willing to hold my breath for say, this week, to see how this G/B perks. But I *don't* want to wait tooooo long, cuz I really want to tidy up my ride!!! I'll try not to punk out on ya & order separate...but you gotta keep sellin this idea up with the local boyz soz we can get on with the G/B!

Okay folks... I'm going to start shadowing this thread and keeping up a spreadsheet on interested members and their desired products. I'll edit/post to my first post on this thread keeping up with what members are showing interest in and how we are moving towards our case orders for each product...

I still believe the "deal-killer" will prove to be the "non-uniform" orders that don't flush out a full case of product. But who knows, zainobros might have busted cases (surely, we know they receive "one-sy" orders all the time) and they'd be willing to merge some products into a single case.
