Default '02 OEM Spoiler looks different to me. . .give me your insight

I met up with ugotmade on Saturday and we talked about S2000 "stuff." Here are some pics of his rear spoiler which I think looks a whole lot different from an '00 and '01 S2000. Anyone else think the same? It looks to be much wider. . .I know that the rear of the trunk and LED brake light is different on the '02's from the '00 and '01's.

Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks!

not my INSIGHT, but here's one!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Spoiler looks wider to me or something, but will need to look at the 00-01 one again to see.

Another one of the many improvements for the 02 model year...

Berlina Blk #6518 01 traded for Sebring #1418.

doesn't look wider to me...

i have a pic of my car ('00) in the same pose and the spoiler looks to be the same "width" when i "superimposed" this pic with my pic.

but then again, what the hell do i know...

regards.

PS - a quick check would be to call a honda parts dept and ask for the model #'s for a '00 and '02 spoiler in black or red or whatever colour is carried over from prior years - i guess you can't use silver as it changed shades and names over the last year.

i checked h-and-a website and you can't order by part number - only by colour. but they only have 1 picture for all model years.

You're going QWAAAAZY, it's appears to be identical to my 00-01 spoiler. May just have a slightly longer overhang to match the new LED fixture if anything.

Maybe it's angled upwards a little more? Need more pics and pics from a '00 or '01 to really tell.
