There are quite a few of us going from the Mid-A
Taking the woman is cool, but I'll give you two things to think about:
1. There is not much to do except drive the Dragon or the other roads. Fontana Village has some fun little things, but if she is a city girl - there ain't no city. If you want to get to civilization you have to drive the Dragon to get out, and that brings me to point #2
2. Think of the Dragon as an 11 mile rollercoaster. It is the ultimate government built playground for cars on the East Coast
However, it isn't the controlled environment you get at an amusement park and that can be a tad hair-raising for some passengers. On top of that, imagine being on a rollercoaster or swaying boat for 15-30 minutes straight.....as a passenger.
There are 3 types of passengers on the Dragon:
1. The kind who loves every second of it.
2. The kind who gets sick, typically limiting your Dragon time.
3. The kind who gets frightened and will not go back on the Dragon again - you're done.
I would suggest taking any passenger for a spirited drive locally, and at the end of the run tell him/her the Dragon is about 10 times more intense than that - see what the reaction is.

I left Janet at Deal's Gap, sitting on the grass all by herself. Poor girl was about to throw up and I wasn't even pushing at all. Whenever I speak about possibly going to the Dragon, she's like, "Go...go... but you're going alone!"

I will most likely not be going to WTD this year. I can only handle a ticket every other year.
Oh yea... I am planning on going this year, too...
I'll know better when it gets closer.

We should all buck up for a U-Haul and a driver to run down all of the performace exhausts.
