Dang, that sucks that the guy just left without notice! I have an ap1 rear bumper, but that's probably no help as you have an ap2.

Hardtopguy.com has what you need though. They sell the OEM rear bumper for your car. It comes out to about $345 with shipping. It comes in primer already so it's ready for paint.

I really don't know if there's anything else you can do since the guy who hit you just left, but you could try contacting your insurance company to see what they have to say. Good luck.

Sorry about the dead link frankcandy. To find it on their site, look under the section for "2004 parts retro fitted to 2000-2003." That's where the ap2 rear bumper is located.

As far as the one you found, it looks like a pretty good deal. I wonder if you need any other parts besides the bumper cover itself such as instalation hardware? I would trust the site since it is an actual Honda dealer.

First of all... BUMMER...

Needed to do a bit of poking around before giving options.

I would agree with mkell that if you're paying around 250, you are paying for only the bumper, not any of the additional mounting hardware, plate frame, snaps, spacers and such. These could add up to another $80-$100. Plus then paint $180-$250 depending on the quality. Click Here for some details. Note all of the parts.

So... make sure all of these parts are included. Also note that Majestic Honda is probably the least at $227 (for just the bumper) - Option #1

Next option (#2) is fixing it/have it fixed. For the price that it will cost, I would pursue other options and not take this route as you can get new for around the same price.

Option 3 - Used OEM, JDM, bumper over the internet and/or s2ki. Taking your chances here. If you have to buy used, you should see it in person before purchase. There are not a lot of AP2 rear bumpers available right now in the for sales section, nor any group buys. So you would neeed to wait until they become available. You can alway post in the Want to Buythread.

Option 4 - After Market spin-offs. Some like them, others don't. These will be new, but there is a likley chance that the fit is good. Hardware may/may not be included. Here are some samples.
Rushkits
Automega - Vader
Automega - Viper
Ground Dynamics
Regardless of option you'll still have to pay for the paint job, therefore, my preference would be buy new as in option 1. If you have the time to take your current bumper off and inventory the damage, you could order any additional hardware at the same time and save on Shipping fees and time delays.

Hope this helps.

i find one from http://www.hondapartscheap.com/south...shpcart.jsp....

$245 that i can get it...but is not ready for painting.. if i get that one, do i need to pay extra to be ready for painting?

i still have my current bumper hang on my car..so i think i do have all hardwares to install it....

do u guys have some idea about painting? where is the nice place i should take...? and the price range...?

thank you guys so much....
