Default Who had Krank vents installed

I installed my Krank vents last week and so far i have to say that i am pleased with the results.

I've done almost 1000km of spirited driving since the last weekend & usually my oil levels would have dropped, however, they have still remained the same.

Who else has installed the Krank vents?

What are your impressions and have you noticed any difference??

hey rev 29k,

I just installed my krank vents last week but didnt clock up too many k's yet.

differences? i get a popping like sound at idle - due to air getting in via the spark plug seal? errm i reckon the engine sounds a lil bit different when driving, coiuld be in my head though.

My car will burn 1L of oil ever 1500kms without fail, so ill update as soon as i hit 1500kms - do you turbo guys burn that much oil???

I must admit I don't check my oil as often as I should, but that mainly because I change it every 2-3000 kms. As far as the krank vents go, I get a weird sound like I have a family of budgies under the bonnet at idle, other than that I haven't really noticed much difference. I got them mainly for safety not to conserve oil.

I get the same popping noise on idle as well. I might try to use only 1 and see if the noise disappears and see if the oil consumption is still minimised.

I also used to burn about 1L of oil each time too. Usually check it from 1000km - 1200km and i'd have to top up.

So far no topping up required but it seems to have amplified all the noises from the engine bay.

i'm just wondering...what oil are you using and have you tried different oils (rating/brand) to see if oil use goes down?

i've only used honda oil and mobil 1 and the mobil 1 seems to burn a lil more? but then i only topped up when needed and never checked the k's with he honda oil.
