Default sorry for the bird at the event!

its sad how u guys can make a guy feel like a total prick. i feel like my actions have some how made this group drive black when it was so white.

now rob doesn't want to do these types of things because of my actions.

i feel a sense of responsibility that shouldn't be there. i flipped her the bird. AFTER SHE TOLD ME TO GO FU*K MYSELF? she got in my way.

can we go with the idea of had the person not lost control would we even be here? or had I not been in that group would we even be here? or had that lady just stood on the side of the road not in the road would we be here?

is it really all my fault? i know i'm not the only one who said something or did something like that. but yet i'm be flamed for saying it openly. i find it upsetting and discouraging.

i one came to this event to meet a lot of new people and get into autocross and events and to make friends with a lot of you. granted i'm 18 and most of u are older, it felt a lot of times like no one really wanted to talk to me. yeah i'm the youngest but idk. i find it upsetting that i didn't quite feel as welcomed as i thought i would.

i don

Listen i'm also new and yesterday was my first time out also. I met some nice people. Everyone is not going to talk to you on your first day out. I doubt anyone dislikes you or has a problem with you. Remember your actions or one persons actions speak for all 45 cars that attended. By you flipping the bird at the lady is going to get her mad every time she sees one of our cars. Everyone makes mistakes so no big deal. Just dont make it a habit or dont do it again. It's not a big deal. I'm sure every one just wants to enjoy the roads and not make anyone angry in the process. Would you be happy is someone crashed into your yard?

Apology accepted and no it is not all your fault. The mess is a compilation of ship and your middle digit became the symbolic picture of all the ship. I think and hope after the roasting that you received that you saw your error. Listen, we are all kids in heart to some degree but the one thing that you must never do is lower yourself to someone else

I dont want to do the events like these anymore because of the inherent danger. it has taken a while for me to formulate these opinions. Dont think it was because you at all.

Seriously. what you did was not that bad but it did cause some dicussion and everybody got passed it. Please dont think you are not welcome or need to not come out.

it was just a judgement call (i probably would have done the same thing if I was your age and things like that were said to me, :LOL) and hopefully we all can learn from it.

Also just because i dont want to do these group drives does not mean they are going to stop. there are plenty of people out there who want to do these types of events. Scott will probably continue to plan them and he and everyone else have every right to still do them. I just saw the proverbial light and had some long discussions with my wife and came to my own conclusions.

Seriously bro, you are OK in my book. Don't look too deeply into my posts or what is being said on these threads.

I think all of us have done stupid things in the heat of the moment. If flipping a bird is the worst mistake you made, you're doing very well and have nothing to worry about.

It's all good mang! Welcome to the club.

yo man you shouldnt really sweat it. people make mistakes, thats part of life. shit happens. your not the youngest person of the group, trust me on that, lol. i can understand the finger thing but i wouldnt recommend it when your in an S2K event cause then it makes the whole group look bad. dont get me wrong, i get impatient sometimes and if it were to be me by myself on any normal (non-S2K event day) and if some person were to do flip out on me for stupid shit like that lady then of course i would flip her off (and probably say worse things) and especially for people who almost hit me, i give them the evil stare, lol so now you know. If you heard about the stuff what happened on the last group drive, then you would prolly get a better knowledge of why people are saying these things towards you. as for now though, everything has been forgiven and now you know not to do certain things/actions on the next S2K events to come. hope to see you again soon!
