Hey i was wondering anyone in new york area have krank vents. I am experiencing a lot of oil consumption, i am currently using up 1 qt for 1200-1500 miles and ppl are telling me it's normal.

Krank vents supposedly help in the oil consumption area and that's what caught my eye, but they said they make a clicking \ sucking noise when installed. Does anyone have the krank vents in the nyc area? I would like to check this noise out before commiting to actually buying it.

Any help would be great.

I have them also, and they do help with oil consumption. My car no longer burns through 1/2 a quart or so of oil every 3k miles in between oil changes. Mine don't make any sort of noise, but they did change the sound of my BOV.

 

I got them and helped my oil consumption dramatically.
I hear no noise though.

 

Is this only a FI thing? Im interested.

which part of long island are you located in? I would like to see if these krank vents are worth it. if you dont mind letting me check your car out. I live on border of long island near jfk.

Did any of you feel a difference with the krank vents? This oil consumption is scary.

i honestly never burnt oil, before or after the krank vents, but i didn't feel any sort of difference, when your making 500plus hp a few hp wouldn't make any sort of noticable difference, but i live pretty far out east 68 on lie, but i'm down to meet up, lmk
