Default Need your help guys and girls, is this a good deal

2000 (year) Silverstone s2000 with 39000 miles
85% thread on tires...clean in and out
some kind of alpine mp3 player head unit
one owner vehicle
clear title
factory spoiler and the side valences (spelling?)

I bargained them down to $15,650....should I push more (its a pain to do so) or is this price fair?

Any help/suggestions is appreciated...im about to bite :-)

Thanks

sounds like a pretty good deal. you should still test drive it and make sure there arent any problems with the car though. if all that works out fine, then its all good!

Sounds like a good deal. What part of the country do you live in? I live in Fl and i noticed up north where its snowing they sell for less then down here. I just bought mine about 3 weeks ago. So i shopped around alot. I think that's a great price. I paid 17k for my 04 with 57,000 miles on it. That is high miles for an 04 but it's a Honda and i thought it was steal. It was a one owner with all service records.

Im in NY....i placed a $500 deposit on the car as I wont be able to pick it up until next Saturday (waiting for a $9200 check to clear for the sale of my previous car...supercharged 99 SI)....the people at the dealership seemed nice over the phone and assured me that they would hold the car, however I being the psycho that I am put my friend to call in and see if they would bargain with him for the S2000 after I gave my deposit....he offered 16000 and they said that they would not let it go for less than 17000...so it seems to me as if they would sell to someone that offers them in the mid 16000 area....is there anything that I can do to stop this considering that I did give them a $500 credit card deposit (although they stated that the deposit is refundable) They sent me some skimpy email (after I requested something to show for my 500) stating, and I quote "confirmation that you deposited $500 on an s2000. 15650"

Are there any extra steps that I should take? Thanks alot for your help!
