Default Pics of My Magnaflow Muffler Install

After reading about this mod in this forum I decided to replace my stock (super freakin' big and heavy) mufflers with a set of Magnaflows. I left the resonator in place because it's easier to remove it later than to have it reinstalled. I'm happy with the sound--not too loud and no drone with the resonator still in.

I also like the looks--not too flashy but it gets the job done. I went with what seems to be everyone's choice the Magnaflow 14832. I got them on eBay from exhaustman1969 for $173.90 delivered (excellent price and shipped very fast). Midas charged me $160 for the install and got the alignment perfect.

I only found one pic of the mod here so I wanted to show what they look like after the install. Notice that the mufflers are angled outward slightly because the stock mufflers have an offset inlet and centered outlet, where these have a center inlet and outlet. It's not really noticable and it actually looks kind of cool.

I heard too many bad things about the full cat-back system and $750 before shipping is more than twice the price.

OMG those are the crappiest welds I have ever seen! WTF? Sounds good for now but you best get those welds redone.

JMO.
