Default turbo guys, hows your diff?

hey im gonan be turbo very soon and wanna see how peoples diffs are holding up after going turbo, i dont intend on doing clutch drops but i do wanan beat on it

Diff will last as long as you want it to. You beat on it by launching and powershifting it will not last long.

^ werddd. I have 400+ hp and the diff is still strong. Then again I haven't driven it all winter and I drive like a 90 year old woman.

I think more people with boost end up changing out their clutch before their diffs.

i blew my 1st diff stock, then an axel (also stock) but i beat the tits off my car...

i beat the crap out of my car, launched it well over 100 times with the stock diff and never broke it

Like we use to say in the Air Force, " there's is those that have , and those that will."

The diffs are weak and I have seen numerous cracked LSD caps and tore up pinions. Some on stock cars that launched 6-7k. Your best bet is not to drop the clutch and have it cryo treated. You can pull the axels out, the rear alum cap off, losen the bolts that hold the LSD in and cryo it.

You will have to replace the pinion seal but it is worth it.
