So how many colours does the stook come in?
Well here in the UK it is 6,
Silverstone
Montecarlo Blue
Nurburing Blue
Yellow
Black
Red
But if you check out Honda in Japan they have a huge 13 colours!!
Some are a bit worrying but can anyone confirm whether these are actually an option or whether it is just for show

I think the colours are for real - but I have never seen any other than the main stream colours on the road. They must be pushing the hard top too - when I bought mine last year, hard top was not in the brochure - no price info even. I have never seen a hard top on the road - plenty of MX5 have them so it must be Honda's fault for not marketing them.
Japan economy is really bad at the moment - I mean very bad - a lot of big companies going bust !
ironically Honda has done better recently as Yen is devalued - they have a lot of $/GBP sales to convert.
People are doing anything to get more business. I think it is already noted on the site that a 6speed autobox for S2000 and there were tons of mud flung at that idea.
I would expect that this is just an option for Japan too. Since most people drive auto here - auto option is really expected. My dealer told me he sold on 50% of the test drives he took with an S2000. The key reason why 50% did not buy was no auto option.

DVD NAV, BBS rims, Type-V
for S2000 in Japan
the Honda custom color plan can let custom in Japan make any combination of those things.
Sorry most people already know this, my point was to check out the custom color plan for NSX in Honda japan web site.
It is so complex, so many things to custom 
there are also 4 interior colours + 1 interior colour without leather seats
2 colours of choice for soft top (black, blue)
