Default is my clutch done?

hey guys, while driving to school today, traffic was coming to a stop, so downshifted nice and easy from 6th to 5th, but as soon as i upshifted back to 6th, all of a sudden my clutch felt really loose. the clutch is extremely soft (like tofu) up until it engages. yet when i floor my car in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, the car goes without slipping. also, sometimes it is hard to engage in reverse and 1st.

anywho, probably gonna put an order through for a new ACT clutch. but before i did, just wondering if it's gonna be 100% the clutch or could it be something else.

Johann

If you're just losing pressure, and the clutch isn't slipping.. I'm guessing your master/slave clutch cylinder is going.

Well changin the tranny fluid has nothing to do with bleeding the clutch, but if you're tryin to justify a reason to buy a new ACT then yea.

lol

If it's no slipping in the higher hears when you floor it then it's not likely your clutch. I'm on the master cylinder band wagon.
