I just received mine last night. I haven't finished installing it, but it looks good so far. Some of the issues I'm having are:

The GPS won't stop calibrating (I only played with this for about 5 minutes). I'm thinking it is possibly not liking that I grounded the parking brake cable?

The other issue is you can't close the stereo door because the unit has to stick out a little bit (which also shows a tiny bit of the side of the stereo).

I still have to play with it more tonight. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I've read somewhere about driving at 25+ mph to calibrate it. I forget where I read it from though. It has nothing to do with grounding the parking cable.

Also, could you send me pics or post up pics of the unit and how it sticks out? Did you see an input for a wired steering wheel remote in the back when you stalled it?

Yes, I'll take some pictures when I get a chance (probably on Monday night).

There is a wired remote input on the back of the unit.

I drove to work for about 30 minutes and it said calibrating the entire way. It also said the speed was 0mph even though the speed sensor seems to be working properly (the manual says if the number goes up as you accelerate it is working properly). I also confirmed through the unit that it is getting a sat. signal from 4+ satellites.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I know I've said this a million times,... but did you check the instructions in the manual? I'm not sure how long the setup time is on that unit.

Yeah, I checked the manual. It says it takes about five minutes (sometimes longer) for it to calibrate. I've now driven about an hour with it still calibrating. Any other ideas?
