I have been in talks with 2 dealerships now. Bernardi Honda in Natic MA. <edited info> Simply stated.......I chose to go closer to home for communication purposes. End of story there.

On to Curtiss Ryan in CT next to my work. They are supposed to be very very good. I would have bought from them but a 50 person waiting list vs a 3 person waiting list snuffed that idea.
Quick sinopsis: Told them it was shaking, tech took car out couldn't reproduce. Got pissed!!!! Asked for Manager. Manager took it out on lunch pushed the car and reproduced it. Chaching $35 dollars later. He tells me IT SHAKES! NO SHIT SHIRLOCK I JUST TOLD YOU THAT.

Same BS goes from above about Honda Care.......SHOVE IT this is what I have!!! Want to charge more $$$$ to Diagnose the problem. UMMM NO!!!! I told you the problem and the fix!!!!(inner CV joint bad) Finally told ok we take it out and that is it......just pay the deductable on the Warr and no Diagnostic time. FINALLY A WEEK AFTER FIRST BROUGHT IN.

Now I get a call they want to wait till the end of the month so a Honda Rep./Tech/Friend of the MGR can be there when its taken appart. Only 1 case on Honda's books and this has really peaked their interest. Only bennefit is that if this is not the problem there will be a tech on hand to help diagnose the problem and Honda will learn of this problem.

Only issues..........this started somewhere between 30-35K miles.......45K is on the ODO now! So far aside from TSB's its been fluid chages/tire chages and a paint job! Oh yes and a misfire on #1-2.(gap your valves after 25-30K!!!!

So its now happening in more cars all basicly OUT of factory warrantee!!!!! Something to look forward to hu!? Why only 1 case on the books? Well........How many really are past 30-35K and then how many actually go back to the Honda Dealer for something like this.....then how many have it and have not noticed it really yet and think its normal or have not brought it in? So the problem is they won't check and do both sides for "reventative" measures. I will have to wait till the other side gets bad before I can have it fixed. Hopefully then it won't be such a hassle!

Car goes in 2/27/01
BTW: FYI: Car has been well taken care of NO drag racing or any Track time.

And I have to say Curtiss Ryan has been fairly good in keeping me updated and working with me. Though this is the MANAGER the other rep I was working with I almost strangled through the phone! Good dealership just gotta work with the higher ups I guess.
