Default Went out for a drive on a old runway

Wassup yall.. Today was a great day to put the top down so I decided to take a drive out to Brooklyn to the old runway. The main runway is over a mile long and I believe there are 2 other runways as well that are connected by smaller taxi lanes. Here are the pics.. Yes the photo quality sucks but I was out enjoying the sun so its all good.

More proof that white is the fastest color!

One end of the runway

The other end of the runway where the grass and water starts

Cool R/C planes! These jets are LOUD!!

Belt parkway to exit 11S. The entrance is on the left before the EZ-Pass lanes/ Toll booth. After you enter the park you take another left onto one of the runways thats well paved and it takes you right into the old air terminals and runways. One of the terminals is actually a sports complex now. Thats the building behind the Concord. The name of the place is Floyd Bennet Airfeild.

Yup!! I dont even want to know how much it cost to finish a project like that. Later in the day someone with a R/C helicopter showed up as well which was a pretty good size as well.
