John Eagle will have two more track events this year at Texas World Speedway. Here is a link covering the last.
http://www.johneaglehonda.com/tws.htm

Here is a message with some detail about the next one from Eagle..

------------------------
Greetings everyone.....
An update and reminder on our 3rd TWS event February 10th and 11th, 2001

The Manor Inn in College Station has a block of rooms reserved under John
Eagle Honda....They are completely booked but if you mention John Eagle you
should have
a room available.....Remember the Holiday Inn is our backup hotel...........

Most of you should have received your packet for TWS....If not, please email
me and I will check on the status....If you are a recent sign up, then it is
on it's way.....

Please be sure and return your registration with check so we can get an
accurate count....we only have 10 spots remaining (of a total 125) but we
plan on taking additional registrations as a few will drop out before
February........

We appreciate everyone signing up and look forward to seeing you all in
February....Our plan is to make this bigger and better.......We are starting
the band around 4pm Saturday and the BBQ begins at 5pm immediately following
the day event..........
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email or call me or Lisa.....
281-955-1770 direct

FYI---You can get your car teched anytime after January 1st but it must be
completed by January 15th.....any cars that fail have until January 22nd to
repair and re-tech....

(If you see any incorrect emails or would like your name removed from our
TWS list, please let me know....)

My parts manager just walked in my office and is offering any and all
performance parts at 15% off list to any registered TWS
participant....(Through Christmas) and all genuine Honda Parts and
Accessories are 20% off!!!! Call Mike Coursey or Jassen Richardson Toll free
at 1-888-335-1443 for inquiries............

Thanks and see you soon..........

I'd just prefer a place to stay for the nights I'm there.

Thanks, Chris.

Called and signed up today!

I second Tex_S2K's request on advice for newbies. What should one (beginner) do to prepare for the event.

FYI...I think Lisa(@ john eagle) was checking into letting us get teched at the John Eagle Honda in Dallas.

The cops in Bryan and College Station use instant on Ka radar. It is a college town and there is no mercy (and little justice) in the court system. Learn from me! The Manor Inn is a bargain and a decent (but not fancy) place to stay.

You will need an SA helmet. Plan an early start (at the track before 7) especially if we have to get inspection at the track. Eagle will have a parts and accessory store setup but they won

I was in Houston on business today and called John Eagle. Spoke with Lisa, and although the Feb 10-11 Event is technically fully booked, she is still taking reservations. There are always some drop outs, so she says that those who sign up in the near term with get in. I'M IN!!!!

Note: John Eagle is offering nomex jumpsuits at $89.95, 20% off of "Powered by Honda" shirts, 20% off driving gloves, and $100 off Bell helmets (down to about $280). I've got a helmet on order (big head, small inventory).

Let's have a big Dallas contengent at TWS!

Regards,

Al

Finally got over there this weekend and got teched. The guys over there seemed pretty nice too. They had two yellows and a white s2000 and one other one. Price? 37 and change, or full loaded with ALL options for 42K! *ouch*

I hope to book my slot at the hotel sometime soon.

Hi everyone,

Its almost a week until the event. So who's going??? I'm still trying to clear out some previous committments. I probably will make it.

Is anyone sharing rooms? (Is it strange to ask?)
Is anyone driving down together?

This would be a great time to take some pic for the NTX club.
