alcohol + rain + 40 mph corner + guard rail =

on a lighter note, writing on your red sports car in black sharpie can be quite liberating.

no... i totally lucked out. nobody else was involved. it was a monday night... nobody else was on the road (including cops.) it scared the crap out of me. i'm pretty sure the man upstairs was just trying to tell me to "wake up" and stop drinking and driving, and that's the only reason i got out okay.

i'll post more pics showing the damage later. it's just the bumper and a little tiny chip out of the bottom corner of the passenger headlight. i spun to the right and did a complete 360, the front corner of the passenger side took the brunt of the impact, and the face of the bumper must have grazed the guard rail as i was spinning. i straightened out, spun left, corrected, and came to a complete stop. scary shit.

i ordered a new bumper and an amuse replica lip about a week ago. the funny thing is that i was just thinking the day before this happened that i wish i could just get my entire bumper repainted because the bottom was scraped up from the previous owner pulling out of driveways too fast, and i couldn't get the lip because it would have looked terrible with the scrapes. now i'll have a new bumper and be able to have my lip... that, and the headlight that got broken was my one "hazy" headlight that i've been wanting to replace anyway. i'm also going to lower it ASAP, seeing as how it'll look silly not lowered with the lip. so i guess it got me motivated.

i still need an ap1 passenger headlight though... if anyone happens to run across one, let me know.

It sucks and sorry to hear about the accident. IMHO you were kind of asking for it, drinking and driving. The two shouldn't mix.

Glad you weren't hurt.

Can't imagine the flames you'd get if you were not a girl.

Please don't drink and drive.
