Few pics first. Think I was in the only S2000 there

Good day, sun-burnt, 2:15 was our group session so that was a nice well behaved session. Audi S4 out with us was good sport, I braked a bit late going into quarry and had to trail brake into the corner, great in a front drive but tends to get the back end out. Ended up going all the way around quarry sideways. Hopefully the guy who came and found me after will email the video he took of it

One of the other lads stacked it on our session at quarry so didnt get a very long session. Then at 3.30 session I got a pass off someone for free as long as i took them out, I obliged and had a great session with nothing going past.

Brakes didnt fade nor judder(when hot) but i did find this after braking on cold disks.

Oops new disks time, plain ones aswell! crack must close up when the disks are hot.

Tyres let me down a bit, great road tyres but they go all squidgy on the track, gets a bit floaty (T1R, 34rear 35psi front). Would love some nice stiff sidewall tyres for the next track. Some suspension mods would be great too but I cant really lower it much due to the ramp into my flat (has bottomed out with a boot of shopping and 2 people in the car).

We were there too - turned up in a Golf GTi with all the bells and whistles (my brother is in the trade it only had 300 miles, so we just watched!!

We saw you out on the track - loved your sideways route at Quarry - had my heart in my mouth, that's for sure! Your car sounded great as you pulled out of Quarry and up the straight towards the chicane. We thought you were changing from 3rd to 4th as you went past us up on the banking, and we thought that'd be around 90. Just how fast can you get to before you brake for the chicane?

We thought there was a red CTR with a supercharger out yesterday afternoon as well. Impressive!

I had a chat wth Mark from Weston-super-Mare who was parked behind Quarry in a 99 Berlina and spotted a pre-04 yellow right up at the other end past the paddock.

Only one S on the track, though! Nice one! I've got a decent pic of you on your second run... I can post it here (reg removed) or PM me if you want me to email it.

Great day out. The lad who stuffed his Rover 25 was OK and the biggest cheers were for a Dolomite and a Cav who both hit the tyres at Quarry and carried on! Brilliant!

Cheers.
Dave.

That disc looks interesting...

I think its an EBC redstuff?

It seems odd, as EBC only use blind drilled spots rather than drill through in an effort to keep the strenght in the disc. Looks like its propogated from the spot and gone both ways.

Car looks great Si.

The guy with the Rover seemed ok about it, he was back out as a passenger later on! Getting the car back tomorrow.

Quarry sideways was a bit of a scary moment, I think thats the most out of control Ive felt on a track when it got a bit messy on the braking/entry. Was pushing it a bit hard as that S4 was right on my arse and put me off the normal line I take. Was relieved to not spin it, Definately the longest slide I've done, wonder what the crowd did lol.

Yeah I was deffo in 4th up to chicane, prob hitting 95ish, not too sure though. Unfortunately didn't get any incar this year.

Found this one of my old Rover last year though if anyones interested/bored: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=23...q=combe%2Brover

Mark fitted the pads this week, new reds. Funny thing is that the disk actually cracked on the motorway on the way to Bristol Fri evening, Got to my brothers and took the brakes apart after noticing a juddering but didnt spot the disk in the dark. Took the car out for a good rag and the juddering went, came back when the disks cooled though. Only noticed the crack in the morning. Still did the track sessions though lol. Crack closed when hot and brakes were nice and smooth.

My brother was also out in his silver Dc2 Teg. That seemed to be going well, he also fitted an S2000 dash it in a few days ago, very trick!

We thought you did really well to keep it going! The crowd had a collective gasp as you went in sideways, then a cheer as you slid round and made it!

The Integras went well, I thought.

Yep, I were there, as usual. Only spectating this time as my Sprint has clutch probs.

Nice to meet you Mabada. That was my mates Toledo (not Dolomite) that went off at Quarry, not much damage, just a slight dent in the front wing. I went out with him on his next session, not much fun, we stayed on the tarmac I saw yours Si2k & the Yellow one was Markb I think?
