Default Dyno Run 206.5 rwhp!

Went with Kwando today...he gained 18 rwhp to 197 by putting stock exhaust back on...he still has injen CAI.

My dyno run...BONE STOCK

My first two runs were in third gear and they were 203.4 and 204.7 rwhp...

The above run was in fourth gear...

Very cool. I guess you have one of those strong S2ks out there. Congrats.

So when he put on an aftermarket exhaust, he LOSt 18 rwhp? Which exhaust did he have?

carlson....

Blue has 5230 on the clock now...at the dyno it was about 5080...I had just had the oil changed.

integrate....

Kwando had the Nuespeed exhaust...

IMO I think it was the combination of Nuespeed and Injen...Kwando's old dyno run had some very large peaks and dips almost like some resonance effect was causing losses and gains (more losses than gains)...see this thread for his old run...injen CAI and Nuespeed exhaust

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=47399

and his run with injen CAI and stock exhaust here...

Great day today! Great numbers too!

Can't wait to see what other S2000's in town get.

My car has 4500 severe mostly city driving miles now, just got an oil change last week. I am planning to do a dyno run soon.

Suzuka2k,

So it was the exhaust huh? I am now worried. I will be taking delivery on my s2k on March 04(so my dealer tells me). I was talking to Mingster on a nuespeed exhaust. If this is true about the exhaust then I will not get it. I too am from the Springs area. Man this sucks. I guess I will have to look at something else. By the way did you buy your s2k from Team Honda?

Will

The Neuspeed exahust is a great exhaust for the price. Sounds excelent also.

I also believe that the loss may have been a combination of the Injen CAI and the Neuspeed exhaust AND it could be that because I am at such a high altitude. I don't know.

There is proof of other owners that have gained HP with the Neuspeed exhaust.
