Spark Plugs going bad with EMS
Tonight, I was over at OGPackin's house to get something and we decided to test out the 2 Step Launch Control thing. He revved the car up and it was going into fuel cut at 5000ish rpm which meant it was working fine so we decided to test it on the road. As soon as we hit the road, the car started to misfire. We thought it was because of all that popping from the exhaust when we were first testing the 2 step.
I got home and connected my car to the laptop. I downloaded the newest AEM Tuner and it asked me if i want to load the settings from my car to the software, i chose OK. the settings were loaded then I tried to start the car and it did not start. It cranks but the plugs won't spark. I also realized that the fuel pump prime was shorter than usual.
Is it a coinsidence that the plugs went bad on both our cars or any ideas why this might have happened.

the weird thing with mine is that it was running all fine. we did connect it to a laptop before to tune it. this just happened after i connected it to my laptop to get the map and everything
just got off the phone with AEM, seems my car isnt reading a cam signal. there was a procedure to check it threw the laptop. you may be having a similar problem. im sending my unit in just to make sure its ok.
but there is a difference between our problems.
you can't start the car with the AEM, I can
I was using the AEM since my SC kit and I had no problems with it. The other day, I connected it to my laptop to save the settings just in case. After I got the settings and unplugged my laptop, the car didn't spark. Not sure, might be a coinsidence
