Default Snetterton Advanced Track Driving Course

Having had the S alignment done by Chris on the Monday, I was booked on the Advanced Track Driving Course last Thursday up at Snetterton. All run by MotorSport Vision.

My Motivation
As the S is my first rear wheel drive car I really wanted a chance to test its limits in a safeish environment. I had a nasty moment when test driving one a while back and just wanted to know what she felt like at the limits and beyond. This course seemed like a good opportunity.

The Day
Weather dry but overcast.
Began at 8:30 with the usual safety briefings, about 14 people in total. Vehicles in attendance included:
- Two Ariel Atoms
- Porsche 911 Turbo
- Porsche Boxster
- Twin Turbo Ford Escort (chap spent as much time under it as in it!)
- Skyline GTR
- Classic Jaguar
- Classic Alfa Romeo
- Golf GTI
- BMW M3

Yeah mine did the same when I spun it on an airfield. Instructor confirmed that is is normal. Maybe it is to allow it time for the oil to settle?

They have a market up there on Sundays don't they.. Always used to anyway. I'm from norwich originally - it isnt far away IIRC

Sounds exactly the kind of day I'd like to do in my S. What kinda price are we talking for that day? It sounds great.

Cheers
Chris

Oooh nice present, not surprised you get so much instructor time for that much! Sounds like a great day though, maybe I'll treat myself if I get a bonus this year....!
