Talking Hardwired Honda Sat Nav

I'd been looking at a few ways to mount my GPS within easy reach and without it looking too intrusive or out of place. I didn't want to cut my dashboard open, and sucker-mounting it to the windscreen whilst having the 12v charger digging into my elbow didn't appeal to me either. Finally I discovered that Modifry produced a dash mounted bracket for RHD - and together with that I modified a European civic sat-nav harness and routed the wiring behind the dashboard.

P.S. I'd like to recommend Modifry and his ingenious products; I've bought a number of his items and he offers great customer service every time.

Enjoy:

Looks really clean!

Nice gauges too.

Did you mount the nav unit in the trunk ?

Thanks! It's actually a Garmin 360 unit - it's detachable and can be swapped from car to car. The cradle's wired to the ignition so the unit starts up when you twist the key.
