Just trying to get some opinions before i make the move...

So ive really had my eye on the lotus elise
But Is it worth it?
Is maintenance going to burn a whole in my pocket?

and yea, maintenance might be a little higher being that lotus is not that big of a company here in the us

isn't maintenance cheap? it's a celica engine... so i wouldn't think it's that expensive...

That is a GREAT engine. I owned a Celica GT-S and never had a single problem. It was built in conjunction with Yamaha Motors, so you have two quality companies backing it. I can't imagine what else could be so expensive to maintain? Brake pads, clutch, tires? I'm sure none of them are worse than in the S...
