Both were purchased new and are in excellent condition. They were in my S2K for several months until I finished my dash-cutting project.
Included is the screen with control unit, mounting hardware, and all wiring, instructions, and original box..... and the navigation unit with mounting brackets, wiring, voice control microphone, software DVD, and GPS antenna. Please note that a remote control is *not* included.
Here are a few pics of everything:
The screen is in near-mint condition with only one flaw. There's a small 2mm scratch on it; it's barely noticeable and does not affect the function of the unit. (see pics below) Other than that, it looks like brand new, and the case has zero wear or scratches.
This rear shot shows the speaker (for voice guided navi directions) and the mounting hardware.
It comes with a quick-release dash-top mount, but I had mine attached to a Modifry mount, similar to this setup:
Here's a close-up of the navi unit. There's a PC card slot for uploading custom walllpapers in JPEG format:
When I had this unit in my car, I also purchased a JDM navigation bezel and found that it would fit. I opted against using that because it would have required a bit of work to install it (since they're designed for RHD cars); I decided to make my own bezel.
If you're interested in placing this monitor in-dash, you can try modifying a JDM bezel. They sell them here:
I ended up buying another AVD-W6210 and hacking it apart to make a totally custom enclosure.
*NOTE: IT'S NOT FOR SALE* but I've included a few pics of it to show what can be done with some creativity, and also to show some screenshots of the Pioneer software that's on the DVD.
Pics:
The last pic is a music video being played off my video iPod. The AVD-W6210 screen has 2 A/V inputs. You can hook those up to a video iPod or a DVD player such as this head unit:
One of the AV inputs can also be configured as a rearview camera input. If you have a rearview camera installed, the monitor will automatically switch to that input when you place the car in reverse (you have to connect a wire to the backup light circuit)
The asking price is SOLD
Well... if you've made it this far, thanks for your interest! If anyone has any questions, please post here or PM me.
