Default 2002 Sebring Silver

Does the new silver really suck that bad? I've got one on order, but still have a chance to change if need be. I've already had the black/black (2000 Model). My wife's got a titanium silver bimmer. It looks sweet when clean. Is this the same silver? I haven't seen many on the road. mostly silverstone still out there.

it really depend on your taste.

I think the sebring silver looks nice, but I will prefer the Silverstone more.

there are some pic of the 2 silvers compare in this thread:

The Sebring silver/black looks awesome with clear corners and stainless steel grille. That is what I'm hoping to buy unless something changes my mind. (not likely) Why would it "suck really bad?"

It just seems like everybody is so dissappointed in the new silver. I think it looks sweet with dark tinted windows. Does anybody have any pics with clear corners on 02 silver?

When I was first looking for an S2k, it was going to be a spa, or silverstone (7/01). But at the time, I could not get the dealer down to where I wanted (They were selling fast @ 2-5k over MSRP). Since is just bothers me to pay MSRP or Higher, and that this was a Want, and not a Need. I put the pruchase off. Then the 02's shipped, and I was heart broken they changed the Silverstone to Sebring. But when it all came down to it, I had my choice between a Black/Black Spa or a Sebring/Black (The Dealer had them on the lot) I took the Sebring.

I love it, It always looks clean, even when it is covered in dust.

And yes, the BMW it very close.

The best I could do is get the car for sticker. 32,840. It took me a week and a talk with the GM to get that price. I should have tried for under sticker!!!!!! The problem is: some jerk offs are willing to pay 5K over sticker. With those people out there there is no need to deal with people like us, who know it's bullshit to pay over MSRP. Actually, as you said I hate to even pay sticker, but I felt this was the best I could do.

Still waiting on those clear corner pics of sebring silver....

thanks.

I think the new sebring silver looks better than the silverstone but that's just my opinion. Silverstone silver is also good because now no one can have that color. Anyhow people will notice your 02' if you had sebring and you would definately stand out compared to the silverstone. I almost got talked into getting a sebring a few months ago but I had my heart set on a black/black that I'm still awaiting. The choice is on you. Best bet would be to see the two silvers in person.

Webgod's car is a 2001, so I guess this is Silverstone, but it looks pretty light in this picture. You could almost imagine that it's Sebring. I think you can see why silver looks so cool with clear corners.
