Just bought some Recaro Young Sport for the little one (comes with 5-point harness too!):

Wow what do the baby seats cost about?? I have 3 friends with kids on the way and it would be a perfect gift!

 

cost about $250. There's not much in color choice, but I needed something lighter due to summer heat.

Recaro will release an infant seat either this summer or next. Otherwise, no baby seats from Recaro until either the child is 18-lbs &/or 1 year of age.

does the ASM recaro have some different type of fabric in the middle? that gray fabric? like that fabric they use on keyboard wrist rests or something? haha.

yeah, it's got a different texture, but I don't think the textile used is that much different other than the weaving and color.
