So I finally installed my AP2 taillights today that I had order maybe three or four weeks ago now...
Quan helped me install them - which ended up being a bitch between trying to find saw blades, the stencil being a bit off and having to cut little bits of extra off here and there, anddddd Quan having a bad back... which hunching over a car totally helps with...
the before shot
lights are taking out... I was surprised how easy those were to remove... I figured it would be harder since removing my headlights when i cleared them was a total bitch
woo! new lights!
markings drawn...
Quan... startin to cut... no going back now... he even made sure to ask me
First side done! yayy!
Both sides complete!
fsck! we needed to cut out more..
one installed... this one was a total bitch...
second one... MUCH easier to do after the first
all done!
I'm not sure if i'm just being paranoid... but it seems like my trunk is juuuust slightly harder to close... could be that crack i smoked earlier though, who knows...
Anyway, yay for new taillights! I'm excited. Thanks to Quan for killing himself as he did this for me. I'll have to go back in the next day or two and add sealant around the inner edges, and also paint the cut edges of the subframe so they don't rust
